In the United States, what are the requirements to run a translation agency?
do you need a certificate or license?
What about when the agency certifies a document? Sometimes I have seen an agency write something like "We are a translation agency and we hired so and so to translate. the translation is accurate blah blah" and they stamp it and it is now certified. can anybody do this or you need some kind of license to certify translations?
