Hello,
I am in the process of solidifying my position as a freelance translator, however, I am still a little confused and was wondering if anyone could answer my questions. My concerns deal with taxes. I am an American resident and was wondering if other Americans could tell me what they do for taxes, i.e. if one needs to claim everything, important things to mention or experiences with the IRS dealing with your freelance occupation. I was not able to find any concrete information about this, so I was just wondering what kind of taxes need to be paid and how to go about doing that (dont want to get in trouble for not paying taxes or something  ) Thanks in advance for your help,
