Hi Alann,
what extension does the file have? I'm afraid we can't help you without that piece of information.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AiiqqpyR_zw5dGVHTkl2QnIwbWg3WFowMTlzMUhhZGc&hl=en

it says file ex:1.mp3

Anyway, I think it is pasted into an exel program isn't it. I don't know how one cuts and paste this into a MS Word document, there was no way I cold count his source words as the phrases weren't complete. I lost the client to someone els because I couldn't give him fast enough the rate I was going to charge him. He was my first client.
How do I deal with this kind of file and format. I only get the link but don't hear a sound and it says mp3...

He has googled the source language for translation so the target language was not correct...but he left me.

Hi Alann,
I've just taken a look at the file and it can be saved as Excel.
Click File > Download as > Excel. Then save the Excel file in your PC. That's all.
