How about starting with a search in the forum for similar questions and replies? That might be a good start indeed.

I'm very new to this site and this concept altogether.I'm pretty nervous, I have no idea what to do, where to click or anything. I'm fluent in Mongolian and also fluent in Kazakh and Urdu. I read a few of the other posts and I'm getting the gist of it but still can't really understand what to do. So yeah, if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

That's my question exactly, 'how do I....'. Specifically, the part that concerns me is the part about handling money. My last independent business venture ended up being an exercise in punishment, with the final result of owing The Government more money than when I started. If you're working independent, doing translation work or any other kind of work, how's all that action supposed to happen, there?
I'm non-certified, but I have a decade's worth of German/English experience from having lived in that country, and I want to find out how to make it marketable, if that's at all possible. If I could just do translation work solo/online, I don't think I'd ever fill out another job application anywhere.

Hi: This is not a program of translation, but yes, we have to pay for it. :0(
