This tutorial will show you how to outsource a work order for an order placed via your website. You can outsource it to other translators or agencies using either "Post Project" or "Invite to Quote" feature.
Step 1 - Locating Freelance Translators or Agencies
1a. Outsourcing using "Post Project" feature
Step 1a-1 - Post Project
Posting a project on Translatorsbase.com is an easy and convenient way of locating translators (or different type of users) for a new work order.

Step 1a-2 - Respond to a Quote
All bids placed for the project are displayed in your Translatorsbase.com account under "Projects" section. The source file is available to the bidders. You may contact selected translators by sending them a response. When you respond to a quote, bidders are added to "Invited Users" section under you Work Order. These are potential users whom you can select to complete the work order.

1b. Outsourcing using "Invite to Quote" feature
As an alternative to posting a project to locate users, you may also invite users by email. Users must be registered on Translatorsbase.com as freelancers or agencies in order to be invited by email.
If you work often with the same users, you can add them to your address book and specify their language combinations. This way every time you invite users to quote for a work order, users from address book will automatically show on the list of matched users for the work order.
You can view invited user quotes under messages in Work Order.

Step 2 - Accept Quote
Once you are ready to select user for a work order, you can assign a user to a work order by editing user type under "Users" section in your work order. The drop down will show all users from "Invited to Quote" section. These are users that you responded to in a project or invited directly via email.

Step 3 - Translation in Progress
Once you assign a user, you should change the status of the work order to "Translation in Progress" and send a message to the translator.

Step 4 - Work Order Delivery
You will be notified by email when translation is completed. The translated document will be available for your review. In order to make the translated document accessible to the Client, change the status of the work order to "Client Review". At this stage client is notified that the translation has been completed and translated document is available for download from Client's account.

Step 5 - Translation Completed
The client will log-in to your Translation Portal website and will review translated document. Client will be presented with an option to accept translation or request additional changes. If the client chooses to accept the translated document, the status of the work order will be changed to "Translation Completed" and the work order will be completed.
