Job Description

Mild lateral patellar tilt.
Good alignment of articulating bones of knee joint proper, well maintained patello-femoral and proximal
fibulo-tibial relations.
The posterior horn of the medial meniscus presented a triangular shaped area of intermediate signal
intensity in T1 and PD WIs. It is not seen reaching to the articular surface or the menisco-capsular
attachment.
Normal MRI appearance of the lateral meniscus, ACL, PCL, collateral and patellar retinacular ligaments as
well as the quadriceps and infra patellar tendons.
Mild intra articular joint effusion is noted.
Focal oblong shaped marrow edema involving epiphysis of the tibia seen at the inter-spinous region
extending to the medial tibial plateau & articular margin showed low signal in T1 & bright signal in STIR
Normal signals of the articular cartilages.
Intact peri-articular musculature with preserved intervening fat planes.
IMPRESSION Opinion:
Medial tibial plateau epiphyseal marrow edema with suspected fissuring reaching the articular margin for
clinical correlation & follow up
Mucoid degeneration of the posterior horn of medial meniscus.
Mild knee joint effusion.
